First you have to make a decision. There are a couple of ways you can go about developing your site.
The simplest, fastest way to build a site

Or perhaps you know a little html, but not nearly enough to build your own site.
There is a way for even a complete novice to build a web site and start your own internet businesses without learning to code html.
If you are less interested in learning the mechanics of site building (learning how to code html, css, php, etc) and more interested in getting started immediately on building your business click here to check out the fastest way I have found to start your own internet businesses.
For everyone else, I will show you how you can build a site on the cheap. It takes a bit more effort, but if you have the passion and commitment, you can start with very little money and build a profitable site in not very much time.
So let's learn how to start your own internet businesses with little startup cash.
Start your own internet businesses with little money
The basics you need to start an internet business are: And that's pretty much it. Sounds simple doesn't it?
Of course, registering a domain name, selecting a web host, and buying a site building program (or an html editor) are just the beginning. But they are important first steps that will allow you to turn your idea into a live website.
Registering a domain name is an inexpensive and easy process. Of course, you have to find a name that isn't yet taken by somebody else, and this is getting more difficult every year. Therefore, it's a good idea to register your name or names sooner rather than later, even, in some cases BEFORE you are ready to start your own internet businesses (more on this later).
As for selecting a web host, there are many companies out there providing cheap hosting, but only a few of them are reliable. And there is nothing more frustrating than a web host that is down much of the time or which loses your files or has a rash of other technical problems.
For this reason, it pays to research your host before selecting one. You'll be thankful you did later.
Another consideration when selecting a web host is that some hosts offer include the use of free site builders with the purchase of a web hosting account.
These site builders can allow even a complete novice to build a professional looking site without buying expensive software, such as a "what you see is what you get" or WYSIWYG html editor like Dreamweaver, which can run as much as $400 or more.
The WYSIWYG html editor option
A WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) html editor is a program that allows you to build a website without knowing html or any other coding language.
The best known (and best) of these programs is Dreamweaver. In theory, you can build a site from scratch using a WYSIWYG editor, even if you don't know a thing about html.
However, in reality, a total novice might have trouble composing a site from scratch using even the best WYSIWYG editor. I find that a beginner is better obtaining a pre-made site template, then editing the template to fit your needs in WYSIWYG editor.
But given the high cost of Dreamweaver (around $400) and the difficulty novices might have with using the this program, I would suggest beginners either use a good site builder (available with certain web hosting packages).
Another inexpensive option for a beginner would be to obtain a simple template (either for free or for cheap) and then use a basic text editor (like Windows notepad) to make changes to the template. This is very basic but can also be effective. I will explain how to do it on another page.
So there you have it - you have several options to get your web site online, ranging in cost from a few dollars to several hundred dollars.
None of these methods are very expensive, so which method you choose in order to start your own internet businesses depends on just how tight your budget is.
Of course, once you get your site live and online, you still must get traffic to your site, and we will address that next.
Going live with a web site is a tremendously exciting event, especially if you are passionate about your subject matter or niche (and I know that you are!)
So get ready to register your domain name and start your own internet businesses and to invite the world to your web site!
